Collins & Blaha, P.C. is listed in the Bond Buyer’s Directory of Municipal Bond Dealers and has served as bond counsel, local counsel, and underwriter counsel for school districts and public school academies in financial transactions.

The firm prepares necessary documentation during all stages of the issuance of tax exempt notes and bonds, including initial resolutions, drafting ballot language and applications to the Michigan Department of Treasury, and preparing all required closing documents from the transaction. The firm also advises in the determination of financial needs and the acquisition of financing. Collins & Blaha, P.C. works closely with the Municipal Finance Division of the Treasury Department and the School Bond Loan Program, and advises clients in the issuance and sale of General Obligation Unlimited Tax Bonds, Refunding Notes and Bonds, Equipment Acquisition Notes, State Aid Notes, Lines of Credit, and Tax Anticipation Notes.
